Historic Beach Cottage on The Puget Sound

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful property. The house itself has a lot of charm and we appreciated the well stocked kitchen. We spent each morning and evening enjoying the views from the rocking chairs on the porch. The views from the bedrooms were great as well. When the tide was out, there were some really interesting tide pools. And we loved watching the cormorants.

Our stay at the cottage was nothing short of dreamy. Communication was top-notch, not too far from town (under 10 minutes to anything we needed), centrally located for wider exploring, and that kitchen - beautiful and spacious. But outside was the real star! From tide-pooling right in front of the house, visits from seals, bald eagles, deer - even a gray whale happened by! Not to mention the sunsets, Cascade views and Rainer peeking out on clear days. Slow coffee mornings and fire pit evenings were just what we needed. The whole family can't wait to come back!

This was literally the best vacation rental we have ever stayed at. It is super clean. It is cuter than the pictures. It was worth every penny.

Great experience. Excellent communication and amenities. Home was equipped for just about every need. So many little touches made it go beyond expectations. Spent most of the weekend on the gorgeous front porch enjoying the view of the Sound. One day we even had a whale sighting. I guess the lack of boat activity that day had something to do with it. It was the most awesome experience, getting to sit comfortably on the porch and seeing a whale curve outta the water. He was there for over an hour. Such an amazing memory for my family.

What a beautiful home and a priceless view of the water and snow capped mountains! The home was well appointed, the yard manicured and the kitchen a joy to cook in. Would be happy to stay here again! Lastly Melissa was so friendly and super helpful during our stay. Thank you!
