The Shoreside Serenity Retreat at Indianola Beach

Wow!!! This place is absolutely fabulous. Views over the water are incredible. It gets both sunrise and sunset, Mt Rainier, Seattle, and even a little bit of the Olympics. The house itself feels like a 5 star hotel. The appliances are deluxe (2 Thermador ovens!!!) , and the kitchen was so well equipped and had everything we needed to cook meals. It was fun for our family to hang out around the huge island while I was cooking and didn’t miss out on the action. The dining table is huge so we could fit our whole family there for dinner, and there was plenty of seating inside and outside for us to hang out together. Morning coffee has never been so peaceful as sitting on the deck and watching the tide and the birds. Beds were super comfortable (all proper beds, no sofa beds 😊), and the main bedroom ensuite bathroom was like a spa, including heated floors – bliss. It was so nice to have a quiet office space to take some Zoom calls. The house has its own stairs to the beach, and we spent hours down there walking at low tide and kayaking at high tide. It’s a 5 minute walk to a small grocery store that also has breakfast sandwiches, pizza, salads, etc. which was handy when we didn’t feel like cooking. Can’t wait to come back and unwind here again.
